MFA: Montenegrin citizens advised to refrain from traveling to Iran until further notice

Citizens of Montenegro are advised to refrain from traveling to Iran until further notice, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) announced.

- In view of the deteriorated security situation in the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Ministry recommends that citizens of Montenegro refrain from traveling to that country until further notic - the statement says.

At the same time, it adds, Montenegrin nationals who are currently in the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran are advised, in accordance with their possibilities and personal assessment, to consider leaving the country, while strictly observing the applicable security recommendations and instructions of the competent authorities.

-The Ministry of Foreign Affairs remains committed to monitoring developments closely, in cooperation with international partners, and will keep the public informed in a timely manner of all relevant circumstances important for the safety of Montenegrin citizens - the Ministry concluded.
