Post Director Đurašković took eight years to complete a two-year degree, while MP Leković spent 14 years to complete a four-year degree?!

It’s no secret that party-based employment has reached deep into all levels of Montenegrin institutions, but what’s even more concerning is the fact that appointments to high-ranking positions are not only based on political loyalty — they often involve individuals with modest education and experience.

ĐURAŠKOVIĆ’S ETERNAL DIRECTORSHIP

The current Executive Director of Post of Montenegro, Josip Đurašković, does have experience managing state-owned enterprises - before his current role, he served as the director of the Regional Waterworks.

In a short break between directorships, Đurašković was the security service coordinator at the Regional Waterworks. That he was destined for executive positions based on his education or resume one wouldn’t conclude, but rather thanks to his political ties - he is a member of Aleksa Bečić’s Democrats.

After a free access of information request, Montenegro Post sent a copy of Đurašković’s diploma from his specialist studies – which shows that he graduated in 2011 with a degree in Economics from the Faculty of Entrepreneurial Business in Belgrade. His average grade was 7.56.

Đurašković graduated in 2011, but his academic journey started much earlier, and that - in the previous century. He enrolled in the Higher Business School in Belgrade in 1999. According to the Belgrade Academy of Business and Artistic Vocational Studies, he completed the two-year program in 2007.

He finished his third year of study in 2009, earning the title of Vocational Manager.

We hope the Post operates more efficiently than its director did as a student.

THE “LEKOVIĆ CASE”

That Đurašković took ten years for three years of study, or 12 for four - is not enough to earn him the top spot in the category of: eternal student.

Based on available data - that title belongs to Democrats MP, Momčilo Leković. According to the Faculty of Law, he enrolled in undergraduate studies in 2009. He completed them 13 years later, i.e. in 2022.

He completed specialist studies the following year - 2023. So, the MP who frequently lectures in Parliament completed a four-year degree in a full 14 years.

BOGDANOVIĆ PERSISTENTLY HIDES HIS DEGREE

Leković’s long service at the Faculty of Law might have gone unnoticed if he hadn’t followed the example of his party colleague and party ideologist, Boris Bogdanović.

Bogdanović’s ideology involves hiding his education like a snake hides its legs, so in the resume he submitted to Parliament, he notes he's a law graduate, but doesn’t mention the name of the university or even the country where he studied. On the other hand, Bogdanović’s biography goes into detail about all the slogans he created for the Democrats and mentions that he completed the School of Democratic Leadership…

But about the university - not a single word.

THE STORY ABOUT,,MEGATREND“

This was discussed by Bogdanović’s current coalition partners from the former Democratic Front. Way back in 2017, during intra-opposition conflicts, when the Democratic Front accused the Democrats of “colluding with the SDP.” At the time, the Democratic Front accused Bogdanović of leading a smear campaign against them particularly against former SNP leader Predrag Bulatović.

This is just a continuation of the smear campaign the State Security Administration - UDBA waged against Predrag Bulatović, now continued by the Democrats’ young using marketing methods from Megatrend, the same Megatrend Bogdanović graduated from at the age of 35 - said the coalition-led by Andrija Mandić at the time.

,,MEGATREND“ AND OTHER STORIES...

In addition, not only he did not mention the name of the university he graduated from, but Bogdanović also left out the fact that he once worked as an administrative worker in what used to be Montenegro’s strongest opposition party, the Socialist People's Party, from which the Democrats later emerged.

And Boris Bogdanović just like his colleague Momčilo Leković, often lectures about law in Parliament, criticizes the judiciary, and decides who deserves the presumption of innocence and who doesn’t.

With such a performance, the public might think the head of the Democrats’ parliamentary club got his law degree — at least from Harvard, not Megatrend.

Megatrend University, a private institution founded by controversial professor Mića Jovanović, a supporter of Aleksandar Vučić’s SNS, has numerous media stories about diploma “buying and selling.” On August 26, 2024, Serbia’s Ministry of Education revoked Megatrend’s operating license, and on a decision by the National Accreditation Body for Higher Education, which rejected the university’s request for re-accreditation.

However, after urgent intervention from "the highest levels," the Ministry quickly reversed its decision and restored the accreditation of the University of Megatrend. So Boris Bogdanović can breathe and be relieved - his diploma “remains valid,” and he can continue “to share justice” on behalf of the Democrats, who control the security sector.
