Milutin Đukanović’s new asset report: Salary of 5,000 euros and 65,000 euros in savings

The President of the Board of Directors of the Electric Power Company of Montenegro Milutin Đukanović increased the amount of cash and money in his bank accounts by more than 30,000 euros over the past year. According to the new asset report submitted to the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, he now has 65,000 euros in savings.
According to the published data, Đukanović has 52,000 euros in cash, compared to 32,000 euros reported last year. He has 13,292 euros in his current account, which is more than 10,000 euros compared to data from March of the previous year.
Đukanović receives a monthly salary of 4,992 euros, meaning that he earned nearly 60,000 euros over the past year.
In his asset report, he also declared additional income. In April last year, he earned 1,400 euros from the Tax Administration based on a refund of overpaid contributions. In addition, he reported 954.34 euros for winter supplies.
Đukanović owns a 74-square-meter apartment, while a 1995 “Golf 3” car is registered in the name of his wife, Slavica.
The Đukanović family also owns securities, and the President of the Board of Directors of the Electric Power Company has previously held a 3.44% ownership stake in the Serbian House in Podgorica.
In the report, he also listed loan obligations. He is repaying two long-term loans totaling 44,500 euros, with monthly installments of 313 and 370 euros. He has given consent for access to his bank accounts.
Đukanović was first elected President of the Board of Directors of the Electric Power Company of Montenegro in March 2021, and prior to his appointment, he reported to the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption that he had received a monthly income of 961 euros from a „regular job based on a previous position“. Before that, he was a member of parliament from New Serbian Democracy in the Parliament of Montenegro.
