Mario Milošević, Igor Mašanović, and Vukan Vujačić were sentenced to a total of 60 years in prison for the murder of Radomir Đuričković in 2016.
Milošević, as the direct perpetrator of the crime, was sentenced to 30 years in prison, while Vujačić and Mašanović were each sentenced to 15 years in prison for aiding and abetting.
The verdict in this case before the Podgorica High Court was delivered by Judge Veljko Radovanović.
As the judge noted, an appeal against this verdict may be filed with the Court of Appeal within 15 days.
To recall, Milošević, Mašanović, and Vujačić were charged by the Higher State Prosecutor’s Office with involvement in the murder of Đuričković, which occurred on October 10th of 2016, and with endangering the life of Milorad Radulović at that time. According to the indictment, Milošević was identified as the direct perpetrator of the murder.
As stated in the indictment, the defendants purchased a “Renault Megane” vehicle for 2.100 euros, which was used in the commission of the murder. Specifically, the indictment states that the accused Vujačić took possession of the vehicle on October 9th of 2016, in Podgorica. It further states that on October 10th in Cetinje, they followed Đuričković’s and waited for him to enter his vehicle on IV Proleterske Street, near the “Konoba” restaurant.
- At that moment, the accused Milošević fired two shots in the direction of Đuričković, who died the following day as a result of the injuries sustained - the indictment states.
They then fled along a rural road and set fire to the vehicle, leaving inside it the automatic rifle from which the shots were fired, the indictment further alleges.
