The Parliament of Montenegro has issued a public tender for hotel accommodation services required for official activities in the country and abroad, worth €207,000 including VAT. The country’s highest legislative body also plans to spend up to €42,000 on office furniture.

The first tender, published on Montenegro’s electronic public procurement portal, covers hotel accommodation reservations both in Montenegro and abroad, as well as the reservation of hotel facilities for the organisation of events, conferences and bilateral meetings.

As regards accommodation in Montenegro, the tender seeks hotel accommodation on a bed-and-breakfast basis for groups of one to three people, at a hotel whose category will be selected by the contracting authority. Accommodation reservations under the same terms are also envisaged for groups of four to 10 people, as well as groups of 11 or more.

The same services are envisaged for official travel abroad. The tender covers reservations of hotel accommodation abroad on a bed-and-breakfast basis for one to three people, four to 10 people, and groups of 11 or more. In all cases, the hotel and its category will be selected according to the needs of the contracting authority.

In addition to accommodation, Parliament is also seeking hotel venue reservation services in Montenegro for the organisation of events, conferences and bilateral meetings. The venue should be suitable for 20 or more people and include coffee breaks and refreshments.

The tender provides for one reservation service for each of the above-listed items.

The public tender is open until 15 October, when the submitted bids are scheduled to be opened.

Purchase of 105 pieces of furniture

A separate tender for the procurement, transport and installation of office furniture, with an estimated value of €42,000 including VAT, provides for the delivery of 105 pieces of various office and ancillary furniture, as well as two fire-resistant safes.

The largest part of the procurement concerns office chairs and work furniture. It includes 25 ergonomic office chairs, 25 mobile drawer units, 10 desks measuring 140 by 70 centimetres, and another 10 desks measuring 120 by 60 centimetres.

The tender also includes 10 freestanding coat racks, six lounge armchairs, six sled-base chairs, as well as four office/work chairs with casters.

For meeting and relaxation areas, the procurement provides for a total of four coffee tables - one larger coffee table, one square table with rounded edges, and two round coffee tables of different sizes. The procurement also includes two cabinets and two wall-mounted coat racks.

The tender also provides for the purchase of one double-door and one single-door fire-resistant safe cabinet, with a fire-resistance rating of 30 minutes, shelves and a secure locking system.

Bids must be submitted by 18 September, when they will also be opened.
