Mujović: The Capital City ready to implement a series of infrastructure projects in Botun

The Capital City, led by Mayor Saša Mujović and with the support of the Government of Montenegro, is ready to implement a series of significant infrastructure projects aimed at permanently improving the quality of life of the residents of Botun, the Capital City announced.
It was stated that Mujović sent a letter to the residents of Botun informing them that the Capital City is prepared to carry out several infrastructure projects in that area.
As noted, this follows earlier guarantees by the Government regarding the construction of a wastewater treatment plant, thereby confirming a serious and responsible approach to resolving key issues for that local community.
In his letter to the representatives of the residents of Botun, Mujović stated that the Capital City, in cooperation with the competent ministries and institutions and with the active participation of the local community, is ready to asphalt the road between the Podgorica Aluminum Plant and the red mud basin, from the roundabout near “Kips,” as well as rural roads in the territory of Botun.
The Capital City is also ready, it was added, to build a facility for pensioners and the Botun Local Community, renovate the four-grade primary school, construct a modern school sports area, and renovate the village stadium.
Residents of Botun were offered the reconstruction of the low-voltage electricity distribution network and the permanent establishment of an intercity bus line on the Botun -Masline route.
Mujović emphasized that the Capital City remains committed to the balanced development of all its settlements, with a particular focus on the needs of local communities that have been neglected for years.
As highlighted in the letter, the implementation of these projects will provide Botun with concrete and long-term support, ensuring better conditions for living, work, and development for its residents.
- The Capital City once again expresses its commitment to open dialogue with the residents of Botun, convinced that through cooperation and mutual trust, lasting and sustainable solutions can be achieved in the interest of the local community, above all in protecting citizens’ health and the environment - Mujović stated in the letter.
