Šaranović and others sent to Spuž

Former Director of the Property Directorate Blažo Šaranović, owner of the company „Apartment Project“ (original name „Stan projekt“) Duško Radulović, public procurement officer of the Property Directorate Branko Danilović, as well as Dijana Krivokapić and Rosanda Dujović, have been ordered into custody for up to 30 days - is a decision made by the investigative judge of the High Court in Podgorica.

Šaranović, Danilović, Dujović, and Krivokapić are charged, as co-perpetrators, with committing the criminal offense of abuse of official position, while the defendant Radulović is charged on reasonable suspicion of committing the criminal offense of abuse of official position by aiding and abetting.

- Detention has been ordered for all defendants due to the risk of influencing witnesses and because detention is necessary to ensure the unimpeded conduct of the proceedings, given that the offense for which they are reasonably suspected is particularly serious due to the manner of its commission or its consequences. An appeal against this decision is permitted - the High Court said in a statement to the ETV Portal.

They were arrested on Monday in an operation conducted by the Special State Prosecutor’s Office on suspicion of abuse of office.

Šaranović is suspected of having abused his position during the procedure for the purchase of a building in which the Statistical Office (Monstat) was also supposed to have premises.
