Europe Now Movement won't support Mandić’s removal: It is crystal clear that we will not vote to let our ugly past ruin our bright future

The Europe Now Movement (Pokret Evropa sad) will not support the removal of Parliament Speaker Andrija Mandić, saying that it is „crystal clear“ that they will not vote to allow „our ugly past to ruin our bright future“.

In a statement, the Europe Now Movement said it was founded with the aim of providing citizens with economic progress and a European future.

- We leave war rhetoric to those political structures for whom it is the only tool. We have already made our position clear on this issue, and for us, respect for international judgments goes without saying. We choose the future - the Europe Now Movement said.

The initiative to remove Mandić was launched by the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) after the Parliament Speaker expressed condolences and paid tribute following the death of convicted war criminal and genocide perpetrator Ratko Mladić.
