Mijajlović: I left a will and stated who would be responsible if my children were left orphaned, I also wrote down who asked me for money

Four proceedings against me were initiated by the same prosecutor. Because of my health condition, I wrote a will and stated who would be responsible if my children were left orphaned. I wrote everything in detail about what happened, who asked me for what, what kind of money and apartments - businessman Aleksandar Mijajlović said in his defense before the High Court.
He categorically denied the allegations in the indictment for cigarette smuggling.
Speaking before the panel of Judge Boris Bulatović, Mijajlović pointed out that the same prosecutor is handling all proceedings against him, alluding to Special Prosecutor Miroslav Turković, as well as the same head of the Special Police Department and their superior.
- Will those people be held accountable later? I can look anyone in the eye - said Mijajlović.
He stated that, besides this case in which he is charged with cigarette smuggling, three investigations against him are ongoing. In one case, as he explained, he is awaiting the filing of an indictment due to communication with his sister, alluding to prosecutor Andrijana Nastić.
- My sister was the best friend of that prosecutor; he used to call her „sister“… An investigation was also launched against me for cocaine smuggling, as well as an investigation because my wife, now my ex-wife, and my children spent time in the apartment of my godfather - Mijajlović said.
He explained to the panel that he previously suffered a heart attack and that his health condition is not good, which is why he wrote a will.
Besides Mijajlović, those indicted include the owner of „Tehnomaks“ Vesko Petranović, Dejan Jokić, Zoran Đukanović, Golub Vojinović, and police officers Milenko-Mića Rabrenović, Dragan Backović, Mirko Mijušković and Radoje Rabrenović.
The indictment also includes police officers Marko Đurišić, Dražen Vukadinović and Davor Lukačević, as well as Branko Čelić, Ratomir Obrenić, Jovan Miletić, Marinko Koprivica, Dušan Vukadinović and Dražen Vukadinović.
In this proceeding, three indictments have been merged.
Television E has previously reported on numerous inconsistencies, including alleged fabrications in the indictments against Aleksandar Mijajlović, specifically how the same 12 sentences were used by the prosecution team for accusations of both cocaine smuggling and cigarette smuggling from the port of Guayaquil in Ecuador. The investigation conducted by the journalistic team showed that someone had altered and added to an intelligence document from the French branch of Europol.
